Since its inception in 2013, it has attracted over 1 million cumulative visitors, significantly contributing to the local economy and enhancing Daegu's global brand value. Beyond a simple food festival, it offers a rich variety of programs including performances, exhibitions, hands-on experiences, corporate promotions, and global exchanges. The 2025 festival took place from July 2nd to 6th at Duryu Park. The main venue, 2.28 Liberty Square, featured a water concert theme with electronic music and a new 360-degree central stage. Visitors enjoyed diverse themed areas like 'Daefrica Waterpia' and the 'Blood Horror Club', alongside art installations and photo zones created in collaboration with famous artists.
