Goyang Haengju Cultural Festival
A historic cultural festival commemorating the Battle of Haengju, one of the three great victories of the Imjin War. The event honors General Gwon Yul and the spirit of the citizens who sacrificed themselves for victory, interpreted through a modern lens. Held every spring at Haengju Sanseong Fortress and Haengju Sanseong History Park, the festival features stone-throwing battles, drone performances and fireworks over the Han River, the 'Battle of Haengju' musical, traditional processions, and various interactive exhibitions.
