Hamyang Wild Ginseng Festival

Held annually in September or October at Sangrim Park, this festival celebrates the premium quality of Hamyang wild ginseng grown in germanium-rich soil. It promotes the history of wild ginseng and 'simmani' (ginseng diggers), highlights the ginseng traceability system, and supports the local economy through regional agricultural products and cultural tourism.
