Day 1: Gamcheon, Nampo & Market Food

Busan Gamcheon Culture Village
Originating as a settlement for Korean War refugees in the 1950s, Gamcheon Culture Village preserves Busan's history. Its unique landscape features tiered houses lining the mountainside and a labyrinth of alleys. Once an underdeveloped neighborhood, urban renewal projects infused with art transformed it into a major attraction visited by 1.85 million people annually. Known as the 'Machu Picchu' or 'Santorini' of Korea for its pastel-colored houses, it received the President's Award at the 2016 Korea Spatial Culture Awards. Visitors can enjoy picturesque scenery, explore diverse art installations in the alleys, and participate in craft workshops run by resident artists.

Busan Tower
Located in Yongdusan Park, Busan Tower is a 120-meter high observatory offering panoramic views of Busan Port, Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and the Nampo-dong area. It is particularly famous for its beautiful night views. The tower hosts various exhibitions and cultural events, and features themed play areas, photo zones, and colorful displays of Busan landmarks. The surrounding area is also packed with food alleys and museums, making it a great destination for a full day out.
Day 2: Haeundae Coast & Gwangalli Night View
Focus on Busan's east coast, pairing a seaside temple with Haeundae walks, the Blue Line coast, and Gwangalli after dark.

Dongbaekseom Island
Although sedimentary processes connected Dongbaekseom to the mainland long ago, the island retains its original name, evoking its ancient geography. Historically, scholars like Choi Chi-won visited for its stunning harmony of sea and forest, leaving behind poems that honor its beauty. A popular walking trail circles the island, passing landmarks such as Choi Chi-won's inscription and statue, the Mermaid Statue from the legend of Princess Hwangok, and the Nurimaru APEC House. The island offers impressive panoramic views of Busan, including the Mipo coast, Dalmaji Hill, the Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and the Oryukdo Islands. True to its name, camellia flowers still bloom in abundance from winter to spring, creating a scenic atmosphere as the red blossoms fall to the ground.
Geumsugbokguk Haeundae Main Branch
Located in Jung-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, Geumsugbokguk is a specialized pufferfish restaurant with over 50 years of history since its opening in 1970. Recognized as a 'Michelin Selected' restaurant in the 2024 Michelin Guide, it prides itself on using fresh ingredients and house-made sauces. Diners can choose from four types of pufferfish for their soup, each offering distinct flavors and textures. The menu features a variety of dishes including braised pufferfish, silver pufferfish soup, thick-lipped pufferfish soup, and black-back pufferfish soup, as well as a couple's set that includes seasoned pufferfish skin and fried pufferfish.
Gwangalli Beach
Located in Suyeong-gu, Busan, Gwangalli Beach is known for its clear blue waters and soft sand. It is a popular destination in summer and famous for its stunning night views, particularly the illuminated Gwangandaegyo Bridge. Visitors can enjoy marine sports, nearby cafes and restaurants, and its convenient location near the city center, making it a must-visit spot for families, friends, and couples.
Day 3: Yeongdo Cliffs, Oryukdo & Farewell Beach
Use the final day for ocean viewpoints around Yeongdo and Nam-gu, with time to slow down before leaving Busan.

Oryukdo Skywalk
Perched on a 35m coastal cliff, the Oryukdo Skywalk is a 15m horseshoe-shaped glass bridge. Constructed with ultra-durable 55.49mm bulletproof glass, it offers a thrilling view of the crashing waves beneath your feet. Known as 'Seungdumal' historically, this site marks the boundary between the East and South Seas and offers the closest vantage point to Tsushima Island on clear days.

Busan Songdo Beach
Located 3km from Jagalchi Market, Songdo Beach is Busan's first official beach, opened in 1913. Following extensive renovations starting in 2000, it features an expanded sandy beach, fountains, and a coastal park. Nearby attractions include Namhang-dong, Amnam Park, and the Provisional Capital Memorial Hall, which served as the presidential residence during the Korean War. The area offers various accommodations, dining options, walking paths, and a cable bridge, with Amnam Park providing scenic views of the coastline and Busan South Port.
