Geumsan Boriam Hermitage (Namhae)
Founded by the monk Wonhyo in 683, Boriam is one of Korea's three major prayer sites. Located atop Geumsan Mountain, it offers breathtaking views of the lush Namhae coastline and unique rock formations. It is also historically significant as the site where King Taejo Yi Seong-gye prayed for the founding of the Joseon Dynasty.
